Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds & Charges:
You will not be refunded the application fee (partly/entirely) if you decide to withdraw your application after payment. Application fee payments are towards the administration purposes of your application and is received by the Institution or University or College you have applied to. BridgEd cannot be held responsible for any issues arising out of money transfers or wrong account information or other similar cases relating to the transfer. Any such grievances will have to be addressed directly to the Institution or University or College in discussion and their policy will be applicable. In addition to application fee payments, the same above conditions apply to tuition fee payments if processed through BridgEd’s website. The payments will be made by the users in the currency of the foreign Institution, University or College or INR/USD as a standard form of currency as deemed fit by the management.
For any discrepancies arising out of payments routed through our website limiting to failure of transaction whereby the amount is debited from the user’s account but the transaction has not been successful, BridgEd will credit the transaction value amount in full to the respective bank account of the user from which the original payment was made. Bricks used in any failed transaction will be refunded back to the BridgEd account in the form of BridgEd credit or Bricks. Bricks cannot be converted into cash.
Services on BridgEd are not applicable to a refund in any other circumstances. However, in the event of a third party settlement, after receiving their official confirmation for refund, BridgEd will process the same or initiate the refund in part or entirely depending on the fulfillment of the
BridgEd policy as applicable in our Terms and Conditions. In case of any external charges borne on account of the fee transfer, charged by the bank or any other agency, will be borne solely by the user and the product cost would be refunded deducting said amount. BridgEd cannot be held accountable or liable for the same. The reverse transfer will be made directly in the account of the payer only. No requests can be made for a transfer to any other account.
In the event of your refund request satisfying our terms, the amount would be refunded to the respective bank account from which the original payment was made. You can trigger a request for refund by sending a request to [email protected] with the subject line:. ‘Refund Request – BridgEd student ID’ (mention your ID here). The email should be sent from the registered email address only to the above email. If any of these conditions are not met, the refund request will not be processed. Disputes related to this will not be accepted.
The refund will reflect in the user’s bank account within 21 working days depending on your bank’s policy once the refund has been confirmed and initiated by BridgEd. However, this is applicable to users who request for refunds within 14 days of making the payment. No refunds will be processed after 14 days of payment being made by the user.
If the amount for the product/service was originally paid by you through credit card/debit card/net banking, the refund amount would be credited back to the respective bank account / credit card account. Any charges borne in this regard, will be borne by the user and the net amount will be refunded to the user.
In the event of a student receiving a Rejection Letter from the Institution or University or College; they will not be entitled for a full or partial refund under any circumstances. There are no exceptions to this.
If in a transaction performed by you on the Site, money has been charged to your card or bank account and a confirmation is not delivered within 24 hours of your completion of the transaction then you may inform us by sending an email to our customer services email address mentioned on the Contact Us page. Please include in the email the following details – your BridgEd Student ID, your mobile number, Transaction date and Order Number.
BridgEd shall investigate the incident and if it is found that money was indeed charged to your card or bank account without delivery of the service then you will be refunded the money within 21 working days from the date of receipt of your email. All Refunds will be credited to the respective user in the account used to make the original payment. You can trigger a request a refund by sending a request to [email protected] The refund will reflect in the user’s bank account within 21 working days depending on your bank’s policy once the refund has been confirmed and initiated by BridgEd.
ADMISSION WITHDRAWAL/ACCOUNT DISCONTINUATION POLICY
Every candidate is expected to fill up an application form, which makes him/her eligible to apply to the institutions listed on BridgEd. BridgEd charges the application fee amount in addition to the service charge applicable depending on the mode of payment. If for any reason, the candidate does not wish to continue with his/her application, after the amount being paid by the student towards his application or any incidental expenses incurred on the BridgEd system will NOT be refunded under any circumstances. If the student has purchased a service or services on BridgEd in order to enhance his experience on the system, and later decides to discontinue with his application process, in that case the amount spent or any balance credits available in his account will not be refunded or transferred to another user under any circumstances.
ADMISSION TRANSFERABILITY POLICY
The amount paid as application fee to one Institution or University or College is nontransferable to another institution or College or University or any Recognizing Organization under any given circumstances. There are no exceptions to this.
In the case of payment of tuition fees in part or full to the respective Institution or College or University; a full or partial or no refund status will be decided by the management of the Institution or College or University to which you had applied. Every Institution or College or University are governed by their own rules and it is not possible to maintain uniformity in this regard. However, at any point in time, no such claims can be made from BridgEd. Users are requested to read the payment and withdrawal as well as the refund terms and conditions of the Universities official website before making any claims. The ultimate decision lies with the Institution or College or University or government body or any external agency.
In case of any claims to be made through our business partners or stakeholders (E.g. Travel agency or housing accommodation) all such claims should be routed directly to them. BridgEd will not and cannot be held responsible for any disputes arising out of such claims. Users are requested to read all documents related to the terms and conditions of the service carefully prior to the use.
